Day 1 Arrive Nairobi Jambo and Welcome to Kenya! On arrival in Nairobi today, you will be met and transferred to the Ole Sereni Hotel, where the evening is at leisure.

Day 2 Nairobi | Meals: BLD
A full day of touring today includes up close and personal encounters with baby elephants and a chance to feed Rothschild giraffes from an elevated platform. Your day begins at the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage where you learn about the painstaking lessons learned to save the smallest baby elephants and see them reintroduced to the wild. Stop for lunch before walking the grounds of the Karen Blixen Museum, where the orders of the “Out of Africa” author come to life. Your day ends at the Giraffe Center where you come “eyelash to eyelash” with the beautiful Rothschild Giraffes. Return to the hotel late this afternoon.

Day 3 Nairobi-Amboseli | Meals: BLD
Set out from Nairobi early this morning and drive to Amboseli, arriving at your tented camp in time for lunch. Set outside Amboseli National Park, your camp has magnificent views of Mt. Kilimanjaro from almost every point in camp. After lunch, head into the park for an afternoon game drive. With luck, the sight of large herds of elephants walking across the plains, framed by Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background, will be just one of the magnificent sights that await.
Satao Elerai
Satao Elerai Camp is located in a quiet, unspoilt, unique setting on a 5000 acre private conservation area 12 kms south east of Amboseli National Park at the foot of Africa's Largest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro. The camp looks down onto the Amboseli National Park in one direction and up to Mt Kilimanjaro in the other direction, giving clients what is arguably the best location of any camp in Amboseli.
The camp currently has 12 luxury en suite mountain facing tents and 5 large luxurious lodge style suites. Both the tents and the suites are en suite with the suites also having luxurious baths. The facilities are supplied with hot running water provided by eco friendly solar units.

Day 4 Amboseli | Meals: BLD
After breakfast, leave camp with a picnic lunch in hand to enjoy a full day of game viewing. Amboseli is known for its elephants, but also for great sightings of buffalo, zebra, impala -- and predators like lions and cheetahs not far behind.

Day 5 Amboseli-Nairobi-Naivasha | Meals: BLD
Leave Amboseli early this morning and drive to Nairobi, stopping for lunch. Then, continue to the Lakes region, arriving in Naivasha early this afternoon. Later, enjoy a boat trip on Lake Naivasha.

Day 6 Naivasha And Nakuru | Meals: BLD
Set out for a full day of game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park (with picnic lunch). In addition to buffalo and zebra, the plains might reveal sightings of the rare Rothschild’s giraffe as well as both black and white rhino. Thanks to the park’s important concervation program, the rhino population is at 50 and continues to grow.

Day 7 Nakuru-Masai Mara | Meals: BLD
Leave the Rift Valley this morning and drive into Kenya’s most famous park, the Masai Mara. Arrive at your tented camp in time for lunch and then later, an afternoon game drive. The plains of the Masai Mara stretch out as far as you can see, and are dotted with large herds of wildebeest, zebra, impala and much more. Birdlovers will delight, as more than 450 species have been recorded here.
Ilkeliani Camp
Nestled in a river glade in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, the area is a favorite for elephants coming to drink from the Talek River. The camp has been designed to combine the old traditional safari style with a modern and fresh feel. Ilkeliani Camp offers only 17 tents and each commanding views of the plains and the wildlife action throughout the day. It is a permanent camp designed along eco-friendly principles - to leave a minimum foot print on nature.
Each well-equipped tents are stylish with en suite bathroom. They are sited under its own cluster of shady indigenous trees and you do feel that you are out in the wilderness. The interiors are spacious and comfortable featuring a front verandah with a day bed and canvas safari chairs. Home cooked meals combined with personal service contribute to an unforgettable safari experience.

Day 8 Masai Mara | Meals: BLD
On your morning and afternoon game drives today, keep your eyes peeled for the Big Cats: lions, leopards and cheetahs are all found here in the Masai Mara. Cheetahs love the kopjes for surveying the plains for their prey. You might spot a pride of lion having a siesta under the cool shade of a tree. With the vast food supply, predators are never far away.

Day 9 Masai Mara-Nairobi-Depart | Meals: BL
It’s time to bid farewell to the African bush as you drive back to Nariobi, arriving in the early afternoon. You will be dropped off at a city center hotel for lunch. Later, stop at our Partner Lounge to freshen up before you are transferred to the airport for your flight home.
