Take in the views of the Ngong Hills this morning at breakfast. Transfer to Wilson Airport to board the Elewana Executive Grand Caravan for the 45-minute flight to Amboseli. Your Exective Grand Caravan's 8 luxury leather seats are configured so all guests can enjoy excellent viewing opportunities throughout the safari. The Tortilis Camp guides know their backyard intimately. They know the individual elephants and their family histories. More than half of the guides at Tortilis are Masai, and have between them 80 years of guiding at Tortilis! All the guides are Bronze or Silver level Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association certified.

Tortilis Camp has open gamedrive vehicles, the first camp to use open vehicles in a National Park. In addition to game drives, why not enjoy a game walk. Tortilis Camp's walking guides are Masai from the local community, who have been walking over these plains since childhood.

Take the time to leave the car behind and enjoy the small things - tracks, dung beetles, micro-ecosystems. The guides are happy to share their knowledge of the terrain, traditional uses of wild herbs and barks, and the Masai way of life.

Day 4  Amboseli-Loisaba Conservancy Laikipia | Meals: BLD
Following breakfast, you have a shared morning game drive and then transfer to the airstrip. Fly by the SkySafari aircraft to Loisaba Conservancy. Following your VIP welcome and briefing about the conservancy, you game view en route to the camp. Relaxing drinks followed by dinner and overnight.

Your sharing morning options include a game drive, horse or camelback exploration, or bush running/trekking. This is followed by a bush breakfast. Then return to the camp for time to relax and enjoy as spa treatment. Shared afternoon game drive with dinner at the camp and overnight under the stars in your star bed. Following breakfast at the camp, you game view en route to Loisaba airstrip. Fly by SkySafari aircraft to Masai Mara National Reserve. You are met on arrival by the camp's vehicle and provided a shared game drive en route to the camp arriving for lunch. After some time to enjoy the camp's facilities, you have a shared afternoon game drive ending with sundowners in the bush. Then return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Elewana Sand River



Located on the banks of a river from which it has taken its name, Sand River Masai Mara is located within the Masai Mara National Reserve, close to the Tanzanian border.

Situated on a secluded and picturesque site, Sand River Masai Mara replicates the heyday of exclusive permanent tented camps of the late 1920’s.

The Loisaba mission is to protect and enhance critical wildlife diversity, abundance and habitat in the Loisaba landscape, which sits on the western edge of one of Kenya's most important elephant movement corridors, while concurrently supporting sustainable livestock production and improving the lives of neighbouring communities.

Visitors to Loisaba are offered a myriad of activities to experience the wildlife and landscape on many different levels. Loisaba boasts a fleet of brand new custom-designed Land Rover safari vehicles for game driving both day and night. Other activities include horse-riding, camel-trekking, guided bush walks, fishing, mountain biking, cultural visits to Samburu villages and visits to the anti-poaching sniffer dogs.

Spacious and airy tents are custom-designed with large floor-to-ceiling doors and windows, polished wood floors, stylish modern furnishings and wide verandahs. The bathrooms are luxurious with flush toilets, double-basin vanity and solar-heated hot water cascading from a rainfall shower to deliver a revitalizing cleanse after an action-packed day. Each tent enjoys an expansive view over the Laikipia plains.

Day 6  Laikipia | Meals: BLD
Your sharing morning options include a game drive, horse or camelback exploration, or bush running/trekking. This is followed by a bush breakfast. Then return to the camp for time to relax and enjoy as spa treatment. Shared afternoon game drive with dinner at the camp and overnight under the stars in your star bed. Those not wishing to spend the night under the stars remain at Loisaba Tented Camp.

Loisaba Tented Camp



Perched on the edge of an escarpment, Loisaba Tented Camp is designed to capitalize on unhindered views across Laikipia's mottled landscape all the way to Mt Kenya. All accommodations and main areas enjoy a breathtaking vantage point over an expansive panorama.

African-themed sophistication and style is the flavour of Loisaba Tented Camp. Spacious and airy tents are custom-built with large floor-to-ceiling doors and windows, high ceilings and polished wood floors. The tent suites are adorned in chic Africana furniture with a modern European twist.

Day 7  Laikipia-Masai Mara | Meals: BLD
Following breakfast at the camp, you game view en route to Loisaba airstrip. Fly by SkySafari aircraft to Masai Mara National Reserve. You are met on arrival by the camp's vehicle and provided a shared game drive en route to the camp arriving for lunch. After some time to enjoy the camp's facilities, you have a shared afternoon game drive ending with sundowners in the bush. Then return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Elewana Sand River



Located on the banks of a river from which it has taken its name, Sand River Masai Mara is located within the Masai Mara National Reserve, close to the Tanzanian border.

Situated on a secluded and picturesque site, Sand River Masai Mara replicates the heyday of exclusive permanent tented camps of the late 1920’s.

The interior fixtures and furnishings mirror this period perfectly, reminding all who visit of those countless Hollywood movies that have paid homage to a classic era of African adventure.

Day 8  Masai Mara | Meals: BLD
Following an early breakfast at the camp, you depart for a full day of shared game viewing in Masai Mara National Reserve. A picnic hamper lunch is served in the bush. In the afternoon, you visit a Maasai village.

You have an early start with a shared game drive arriving at your secluded bush breakfast. You then game view as you return to the camp for time at leisure and lunch. In the afternoon, you have your final shared game drive followed by sundowners in the bush. You enjoy a farewell dinner under the stars and overnight at the camp.

Day 10  Masai Mara-Nairobi-Depart | Meals: B
Following breakfast, you transfer to the airstrip for your SkySafari flight back to Nairobi's Wilson Airport. You are met on arrival and transfer to Hemingways Nairobi where you have use of a day room. Later, you are transferred to the airport to begin your journey home.
